Houston Music Academy is proud to celebrate ACMP (Associated Chamber Music Players) member of the month, Pat Brown, our dedicated flute instructor, whose passion for music shines both inside and outside the classroom. Though she practices optometry by profession, Pat has built a vibrant and inspiring musical life. For more than 20 years, she has been a member of the Texas Medical Center Orchestra, where she not only performs but also served on the board, and helped guide the ensemble to national recognition. Beyond the symphony stage, Pat performs across Houston with her chamber trio—flute, violin, and bass—bringing live music to audiences at professional events and community gatherings alike. Her journey reminds us that music is not only a career but a lifelong calling.
