Bass Guitar lessons are open to children 12 and up and adults of all skill levels. Children at the age of 12 start to develop the finger dexterity and strength required for bass guitar. For younger students, we recommend our Ukulele Class. As always, Piano is always an excellent foundation instrument, providing your child with basic musical knowledge that can later be applied to bass guitar lessons when the student is older.

Houston Music Academy is committed to ensuring that students of all ages and abilities have a positive private lesson experience. Students are individually placed with a teacher based on learning style, experience, and musical interests.

Private lesson students also receive the benefit of multiple opportunities to perform in recitals, jams, workshops, and masterclasses.
